As a woman, I realized that I should value myself. A woman needs respect and to be treated properly by a man. If you feel that your relationship with him is getting toxic, leave that kind of toxic relationship.

  A LETTER TO PEDRO ALSO CALLED PETE by RENE ESTELLA AMPER Filipinos always smile, even though there are many problems in life. Filipinos are famous because they are always smiling like they have no problems in life. Real friendship is hard to find. The distance and time are not a hindrance to continuing the connection between Pedro and the letter writer. It's very rare for a friendship to stay in touch when one has to leave to start a new life somewhere.

  FOOTNOTE TO YOUTH The story taught me that marriage is something that should be taken seriously. Because marriage is full of responsibilities. The excitement of youthful age like Dodong, Teang, Tena, and Blas. They think that marriage is a play. The big lesson is to be patient and to think through the consequences before making a long-term decision like marriage.

  THE VISITATION OF THE GODS The students at Pugad Lawin High School pretended to live in perfection, but they do not. The visitation is 99% accurate. When I was in grade school, when the principal announced that the superintendent would inspect the school, they always wanted the school to be very clean and organized. And they say that the teachers should be prepared to discuss a topic, and they tell the students to wear a professional uniform. That's why I said a visitation leaves a 99% impression on the superintendent and supervisor.

  THE LAST LEAF The lesson I learned from the story is that we should never lose hope of surviving. We should not value our lives by an object such as falling leaves because it is a sin to want to die.  Another lesson is sacrifice. Mr. Behrman gives up his life for Johnsy so that she can live. He paints his masterpiece, "The Last Leaf," which gives Johnsy hope for the future.

  DEAD STARS This story taught me that forbidden love is a curse that can destroy your relationship with the person with whom you marry. Infatuation will fade away because true love always wins. Faithfulness is a must in a marriage because marriage is a commitment to the rest of your life. You promise him or her that you will be faithful, love, and cherish him or her. If you have an affair, you are destroying your marriage with the person you married. 

  HOW MY BROTHER LEON BROUGHT HOME A WIFE The lesson I learned from the story is that social status is not a hindrance if we truly love someone. However, many toxic minds believe that a rich person is only for rich people and a poor person is only for poor people.  Also, it shows how Maria sacrifices her social status for things like cars and houses. because she really loves Noel. She knows how to respect and accept the social status Noel has.

  SINIGANG The story taught me that everyone makes mistakes, whether they are intentional or not because no one is perfect, but we must accept responsibility for the mistakes we make. We need to correct our mistakes. We should forgive and forget. You will heal all our heartaches if we forgive the person who makes mistakes to us. And the person we forgive should try not to repeat the same error because it will hurt us.  I've learned from the story that we should be truthful to our partner. If we truly love someone and form a relationship with him or her, we should make sure to make him or her happy and feel content. Don't ever hurt someone because trust and love are hard to return.

  WEDDING DANCE The story wedding dance teaches us a lesson to let go of our love even if it hurts just to make them happy. Lumnay has no choice but to let go of Awiyao because Awiyao wants a child that Lumnay can't give to him. It is not wrong to fight for what you feel for the person you love. But you need to respect the traditions of your tribe. But if that person truly loves you, he will accept that you cannot bear a child and will not follow the traditions of the tribe. This story teaches me a lesson to let go of him. Letting him go means being mature enough. I am aware that our relationship is getting toxic every day. he always denies the truth even though I ask him to confirm it so that's why I let him go for the safety of myself.
